Founded by CEO Marcus Hayes in 1995 and restructured in 2013 to meet the demands of the market, CMG Contractors, Inc. is comprised of a talented team of industry professionals.
Marcus Hayes, President & Chief Estimator
Founder and visionary Marcus K. Hayes has been at the helm of CMG Contractors for over 25 years. Under his leadership, CMG has grown into one of the top three minority painting companies in Middle Tennessee and has procured contracts with some of the largest general contractors in the U.S., including Biscan, Turner, Bell, Whiting-Turner, R.C. Mathews, Skanska, Brassfield & Gorie, Messer, RG Anderson, and American Constructors.
Marcus is a graduate of Tennessee Preparatory High School (TPS) in Nashville and has completed coursework at ITT Technical Institute toward a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management. He is a licensed General Contractor. He is an active member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and lives in Nashville with his wife, Jacqueline, and daughter, Abigail. As a family, they enjoy biking on the greenways in Nashville and traveling.
Ramon Maciel, Project Manager and Estimator
Ramon Maciel is an architect with extensive experience in construction and project management. He began his career as a Field Architect and Chief Estimator for residential construction projects and baseball stadiums in Mexico City, like "Torre Reforma" and "Alfredo Harp Helu."
As a result of his professionalism and experience, he was hired to work on a Hyundai Transys project in Alabama. He now works as a Project Manager and Estimator for CMG. His attention to detail and ability to analyze projects contribute to the success of the team and the client experience.

Markeshai Battle, Finance Manager
As Finance Manager at CMG Contractors, Markeshai oversees business activity, financial forecasts, and annual budgets to ensure that all reported results are compliant with federal and state regulations and the organization's exacting standards.
Markeshai has extensive experience in the healthcare field, having held positions as a Certified Pharmacy Tech and IV Processing Tech, serving nine years in the industry. Markeshai has an eye for detail and exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, which she applies to her current role. While fairly new to the construction industry, she has quickly excelled in her responsibilities. In her downtime, Markeshai enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Jamie Terlep, General Superintendent
Jamie Terlep is a seasoned professional with a proven track record of delivering well-executed projects and cultivating long-term partnerships. His journey in the painting industry began in 2013 as a painter, and since then, he has consistently demonstrated exemplary performance and professionalism, propelling him to new heights in his career.
As a specialist in commercial painting, Jamie takes pride in delivering the enduring quality that CMG promises to its clients. Every project he takes on is executed with precision and excellence.
